Materials & Equipment

• 0.9 % Saline solution
• 4% Paraformaldehyde in 1X PBS (for IHC)
• Anesthesia of some kind (isofluorane usually used by our lab)
• falcon tubes
• 30 gauge needle (or needle with the round head; this item is for insertion into the left ventricle)
• Peristaltic pump
• Collecting dish (Pyrex square dish)
• Surgical stage (wire or styrofoam)
• Dissecting scissors
• Forceps
• Clamp scissors
• Standard scissors
• glass vials to keep brains (or 15mL Eppendorf)
